Okay, all heated debates about the relative merits of various summing mixers (or lack thereof) aside, here's the first glamour shot of the new Neve box, and I'm sorry, but that shit looks _fine._ [Here](http://shopping.netsuite.com/core/media/media.nl?id=28004&c=360669&h=175d68c8d848f0697bcb***************) is the full-size pic. Try not to slobber on your keyboard.

and how much is this? i was thinking about getting a speck x-sum to mix my synths, but if this thing is comperable, i might have to wait!

**Chris Randall** (2005-09-25):

This will cost about twice as much as the X-Sum. $3250 MSRP equals about three grand street. If submixing synths is your only need, I think the X-Sum is probably better for the task.

yeah, i figured as much... i already have a dangerous 2 bus LT for summing, so the x-sum it is!

Call me crazy but I don't really like the look of this thing. If it didn't say "Neve" on it I wouldn't give it a second thought. I wonder how it sounds...
