If you take a gander at the [AMS-Neve site,](http://www.ams-neve.com/) you'll note the big countdown clock, which bears a striking resemblance to the clocks you often see in techno-thriller movies which say exactly how much time the hero is going to take (minus a couple seconds) to solve whatever large-magnitude problem is facing him/her at any given moment. So, either something is going to blow all to shit, or Neve has something undoubtedly cool up their sleeves. Anyone have a hint?

Wait a sec, I thought you were supposed to be the level-headed skeptic. ;-)

My buzz-o-meter tells me this will be a really big NAMM. Lots of folks unveiling new stuff. And more web hype than usual, for some reason . . . don't believe the hype. I'll make sure to stop by their booth, for sure.

I'm level-headed and sceptical unless it's something by Neve or API. Then I cry like a 3-year-old girl.

weird, I can't seem to find them in the official NAMM exhibitors list...

"more web hype than usual, for some reason . . . "

There are a lot more websites creating hype than there were last year, perhaps?

ams rmx-16 for powercore!

well, it _would_ be cool...

I remember hearing that Neve were bringing out an analogue tracking console that doubles as a DAW control surface - similar to the one that SSL have out (the AWS900.)

Or have they released that already?
