Okay, it was a good one this month. I think we're all getting the hang of this. I couldn't download the one from deceptakahn. Please make sure to leave your loops where I can get them until you see the final one up, as I don't usually download all of 'em until I'm assembling the Big Mo. Also, a couple of the loops didn't line up correctly, time-wise (you'll hear 'em...) so make sure you export a total four measures. I make sure everyone fits \_my\_ 120 bpm four measures, but if I don't get the full four measures, there's not a lot I can do...

In any case, once again, we took a crap loop and turned it in to a seriously schizophrenic whole. [Here 'tis.](https://web.archive.org/web/2006/http://www.analogindustries.com/samples/FMOF0406.mp3) Here's the list of submissions:

We're going to get extra experimental next month. A couple people have requested one with no beats, so I have to find some rhythmic, yet beatless, source material. That should be interesting.

fun stuff as always- a pretty good range of sounds this time around.

I especially dug the examples with strong melodic elements (mine was nothing like that unfortunately) - It sounds like next month, the challenge will be quite the opposite.

I'm looking forward to the 4th installment, fortunately we're already halfway there!

**Ronin** (2006-04-13):

pretty good!!

**Angstrom** (2006-04-13):

yay!
I think this one has some real gems in, as always it's tough to connect creator to loop in the frenzy - but all are good IMO
I'm not convinced my two bars of half-time dub worked rythmically with the others despite being 4 bars at the original tempo.
lesson learned!

**deceptakahn** (2006-04-13):

damnit! my webhost had to go down when i finally completed one of these.

c'est la vie. see ya'll next month.

**skOre** (2006-04-13):

Next time I will write myself a memo noting: "Try downbeat, no reverbs and no glitch". I feel so calculable with this FOF thing...

me likes: 2,7,9,10,12,14,21,24
me really likes: 3,4,5,8,11,13,15,22

I may try my hands on a restructuring today. But whats that disturbing non-alignment with this track? is it starting a few milsecs to early, or is there something in between somewhere. I end up slicing it wrong all the time...
