Hard-Core Gear Porn Friday...
From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.

Here we have the home studio of one Meic Kluge. A pretty nice collection of synths, in my opinion. An MS20/SQ10, fairly large Synth.com modular, all the usual Roland suspects, etc. etc. Go to the pictures, then right-click->view image; they’re quite a bit larger than the site is letting them display. I especially like his vintage effects collection, which contains several pieces that I would own if I wasn’t obsessed with things that are either silver or a Sequential Pro-FX.

That website is ugly.
What kind of silver things are you obsessed with?
Duende, PowerCore, Rosetta 800, Eventide Eclipse, and the incredibly cost-effective Chameleon Labs 7602.
Forr starters, anyways.

do you have a 7602?
i read the tape op review and it seemed to hang in there pretty well w/a real neve.
No, I don't have one. I don't really care if it sounds like a "real Neve." I just care if it sounds good. For the price, it seems like an excellent deal, and the few reviews I've read really say the price:performance ratio is excellent. It's on my List.
As are the other things I've mentioned.

You can check out 1073 vs. 7602 .wav files on their website at:

Sounds pretty good to me (or is the $1500 price tag for the pair that's making think about pawning my neighbor's motorized wheelchair again?)......
i dont care if it sounds like a real neve either i was just using the 'real neve' comparison to mean that it indeed sounded good per the reviewer. since that's what they were measuring it against.
the price is right for sure and the fact that you get a pre and EQ for that price is sick.
and yeah.. eventide stuff is great. i love my eclipse. best $1200 i've spent (used)
