DIY tube amp?

Is anyone aware of a simple single-tube amp project out in the interwebs? I’m interested in trying my hand at building a simple tube amp, and I have some excellent NOS GE 6L6 tubes that’d be perfect for the project. Plus I want to know what it feels like to get hit with a 480V shock.
