More Reverence updates...

From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.

All righty. I’ve made the product page for Reverence live on the Audio Damage site. You will find therein a pair of audio demos, a screenshot, and some market-speak about the plugin (which won’t contain anything you don’t already know if you read this site.) Here ’tis.

and quite a terrific way of showing off the short comings of mp3 en/decoding.

This sounds sweet. Nice thick reverb. Not the kind of stuff you can get with convolution. In a way it reminds me of my much missed PCM-80.

Down the road you should consider adding some more algorithms to really kill anything out there.

    NICE!

We were talking about that very thing just last night. It's something we'll consider. I just want to get it out first and see how it does before we seriously talk about upgrading it. ;-)

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it before, but what's the possabiliby of an RTAS version for us alsihad users? I've almost begun making a plate for the studio because I can't stand most of the reverbs besides Altiverb, which I can't afford.

The possibility of an RTAS version is approximately zero. Our relationship with Digidesign was brief, not particularly happy, and a net loss for us. Our customer base showed an overwhelming preference for VST and AU. Hence we're unlikely to do any more RTAS plug-ins. You might check out the VST/RTAS wrapper made by our friends and colleagues at fxpansion.
