New Cwejman Modules...
From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.

I don’t know if you noticed, but there’s a whole arseload of new Cwejman modules in Eurorack format up at Analogue Haven. This is shaping up to be a pretty slick system. I know I’ve sworn off modulars for the nonce, but this is becoming pretty tempting.
There are even some modules that fit in to the pro audio world. Check out the AP-1, which is a mic pre, env follower, and compressor module, absolutely perfect for running vocals and other instruments in to your modular. (Why someone didn’t do this before is utterly beyond me.) Also, the AI-2, which gives your modular balanced inputs and outputs (handy as hell, that) and the VC-FC, which is a forward compressor with voltage control of every parameter. As someone who makes heavy use of compression as an effect, this would be right up my alley.

So the AI-2 would then let you fully integrate any computer audio card into a modular, yes? That would be very handy.
These Cwejman modules really have shaped into an impressive system. If only I had unlimited wealth.
Well, I don't know about that. If your interface is balanced I/O, then yeah. In the case of, say, an Apogee Rosetta or Lynx Aurora, it would let you forgo using a mic pre, and make it really easy to use your modular as an effect send.

Pictures of actual modules (VCEQ-3 and MMF1) here:

They're built really well and are shallow enough to fit into an EMS Synthi style case.
AH also has a used CM motormix for $400, perfect for Kyma.
Serge modular has this such input
anyone know what their vocoder sounds like ?
