Spring Cleaning...

From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.

Adam asked me to post this for him. This stuff isn’t mine; don’t write me and ask me about it. Write Adam instead.

Clavia Nord Modular G2 Engine (rackmount G2), with original packaging (such as it is), manual, and nifty red-tipped USB cable. Excellent condition, hardly looks used. $650.

Encore Electronics Expressionist MIDI/CV converter, with manual and AC adapter. Looks nearly new. $450.

TC Electronic PowerCore Element PCI, with original box, packaging, manual. The CD is obviously out of date but you can obtain the current software from TC’s website. $150. A helluva good reverb for the money.

MIDIverb II with original AC adapter, docs and quick-reference card. I’m not gonna pull your leg and tell you that this is a “vintage” reverb. $50 or offer me a guitar pedal of some sort.

[Editor’s note: That’s from an Apogee/SSL/Eventide studio, I think Adam should have pointed out. -CR]

I accept PayPal only, and I ship only to addresses within the United States. (Sorry, but I hate filling out customs forms.) Prices do not include shipping but I charge only the actual cost. I can ship by UPS or USPS, whichever you prefer.

Yes, the MIDIverb II is an absurdity. I've had it--well, I bought it new, let's put it that way. I don't actually expect anyone to be interested in it but maybe I can keep it out of the landfill.

Incidentally, I am also preparing a LinnDrum with extra ROMs for sale. It needs a battery replacement which I'll do as soon as I can find a suitable battery pack. I'm not really sure what it's worth, but it's in extremely good shape with all slider caps and knobs present, etc. Drop me email or a PM if you're interested in it.

Some people really love that MIDIverb II, I'll bet you sell it. I never understood it, myself. I think they showed up in studios in the '80s because it was a cheap gated reverb to add to send #6, then people saw it in the studio and thought "hell if it's good enough for them..."

I really want your Expressionist, but I'm tapped at the moment.

I don't know, I'd probably grab it were I not completely broke at the moment. It'd be fun to play around with.

If someone doesn't pick up the midiverb ii for that price they're fools. I'm topped out on rack gear or I'd get it.
