Got my office all re-wired today. Took me two days to strip it to the bare walls, clean everything, and put it all back together. Thank god I don't have more shit.

Well...

I actually have a ton more shit, but it's all out in the studio. I can't record guitars in the house, because my wife would kill herself then kill me. In the interests of marital bliss, all actual _noise_ takes place out in the studio. Also, I've ordered speaker stands because the speaker placement makes me want to stick a rusty spork right in my left eye, but they obviously aren't here yet.

This is a much better placement than my previous iteration, I'll say that much.

i can see how the speaker placement would be a problem. isn't there a moog someplace?

All my synths are stored. I pull them out as I need them. Since I don't "collect" synths, I don't feel the need to be constantly surrounded by everything that has keys that I own.

And if I did, I wouldn't be able to fit in the room.

**Aenemone Carbuncler** (2008-06-07):

and how do ya store older synths? some of batts that could leak older ones covering is good.
I forgot what I was gonna say.. but the the new Firewater CD is great!

You might want to consider getting a set of those auralex pads or something similar to to go with the speakers. When I got a pair of fairly cheap steel stands, there were a couple of resonant frequencies that made them rattle and buzz really fucking loudly, but the pads fixed it completely.

You don't have nearly enough stuff lying around in your office.
