# New Soniccouture Loop Set...

Our good friends at Soniccouture have _finally_ put out another drum loop set (REX, Apple Loops, and WAV) of 63 construction kits called Tremors. I don't have the set yet, but if the audio samples are any indication, this new one is absolutely smashing. Seems to largely consist of an abstract ("abstrakt?") take on dubstep. picked it up this a.m. and lost my midday to trolling thru the cut up goodness. i'm especially enjoying the kits that contain a combination of dead dry drum hits contrasted with deeply effected flourishes.

being able to dismantle the kits for breakdowns and bridges is straightforward with the REX sets and the organization of the kits is tidy enough so they don't get lost in browsers. good price point too, considering the selection and boutique-level quality of the craftsmanship.

I'm not feeling these demos/loops at all. Is there a lot of one hits and bass instruments included?

i love their abstrakt beats - i have version2 and i also have konkrete 1+2 and the prodcution level is always high and the sounds are always usable and intersting.

coupled with automaton at the minute and i sound like im raping calculators.

The demos seem cool, but it seems like one of those things I could just do myself. I don't hear anything that makes me think it would really add to what I've got.
