Pierre Schaeffer
From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.
Stefan got the artwork done for the Pierre Schaeffer t-shirt (click the image for a much larger version, and if you need to school on Pierre, here is a good place to start), and now we’re trying to decide what color to make the shirts. We’ve narrowed it down to four, and here are the choices, modeled on an unnamed bearded Silverlake hipster who bears a striking resemblance to Billy from Six Feet Under:
Obviously, “asphalt” was what we did the Delia tees in. However, I did get two run in Navy: one for my wife, and one for Tara Busch, and the Navy takes the discharge ink really well. You can see Tara “unboxing” hers here. I would like to do a different color than the Delia ones, but I’m torn as to which to do. So, in the true democratic fashion, we’ll have a poll.
(Poll removed because it’s made of fail.)
Whichever one has the most votes is the one we’ll do, unless it’s really close, in which case, Stefan can decide, thus deflecting the righteous synth-nrrrd anger across an ocean.
We’re going to do the ordering a bit differently this time, because a lot of people got left out in the cold with the last shirt. We’re going to have open pre-ordering for four days, and whatever is ordered in that amount of time is what we’ll get made.
