Demonstration of Eos hall reverb algorithm on piano… by Chris Randall
Here’s a demonstration of the Eos “Superhall” algorithm on piano. The piano samples are from the Kontakt factory library, the August Foerster “Full Convolution” set. The first little flourish is dry, no Eos, then I automate the send up to about 35%. (-13dB against the track, according to Cubase’s internal logic.)
Eos is set on Superhall, with a fairly long decay of about 15 seconds, and most other controls are in the middle of their range. So this is a long-ish example of a middle-of-the-road Eos sound. You can download the AIFF if you’d like to give it a closer listen. Note that there are no other effects on this track, nor any compression or limiting of any sort. Kontakt, with a send to Eos, right out the stereo buss.
The piece itself is something I call “Lament On A Missing Girl In C Major.” I think it’s gonna be a hit.
