Memorial Day Bullshit...
From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.
For our foreign readers, today is a holiday in America. It is ostensibly the day when we’re supposed to honor all the US soldiers that have died in various wars. Truthfully, though, it is generally understood to be the national password for ROOOOOADDDD TRIIIIIIPP!!!! Needless to say, it’s one of the couple days of the year that you want to stay far, far away from any place that might have vehicles of any sort, due to the one-two punch of heavy traffic and drunk driving.
I know. America is a strange country. You don’t have to tell me. I live here.
Anyhow, here’s what’s going on around here all week: today we’ll hopefully finish the Windows side of Eos in its entirety and get it out to the testers. Major coding is done anyhow, and it’s just hunting down all the little things (making sure presets work, making sure all the controls are wired up correctly, etc.) Assuming that’s all true, we’ll start the Mac port tomorrow and while Adam is doing that, I’ll be writing presets.
On a non-AD tip, we still need a visual artist of some sort for RT60. Preferably someone that is fairly crafty. So if you could be loosely described as someone along those lines, and you live in Portlandia, don’t hesitate to drop me a line. We’re going to start getting the live show together fairly soon, for mid-summer shows. In that same realm, we also are in need of a rehearsal space, preferably one that isn’t wedged in among 10 others. The only thing worse than screamo is screamo through a wall. So if you have a suggestion about that sort of thing, do tell.
