O Purple, How Do I Love Thee?

From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.

Purple Audio hooked a brother up with some custom-machined aluminum knobs for the World’s Most Expensive CS5. Much thanks to Andrew + Ed, and now the little feller (the which definitely needs a name by now) has controls befitting its status. The only thing left is the pitch bend wheel, and this little piggy will be done.

Those are perfect and look much better than the original knobs. I know it's probably rude to ask, but how much were those knobs? A couple on my CS-15 are starting to disintegrate so it might be time for me upgrade.

I don't think they're really for sale, to the best of my knowledge... uh... Ed?

I have a pitch and maybe even the mod wheel/s from an old moog prodigy. At least I think thats what it was. I'd have to dig into the bowels of my storage/garage where there are little pieces of old things still lurking and awaiting a useful purpose. You want?

It/They look like the ones here >>> http://www.sequencer.de/pix/moog/Prodigy.jpg

Those knobs would look lovely on my CS-15. *nudge nudge, wink wink*

the knobs aren't for sale; no money changed hands here. chris is a valued customer and we were glad to help out.

unfortunately there isn't an easy source for these knobs in smaller qtys. there are plenty of other nice aluminum knobs on the market however, so check your favorite parts supply house.
