CM gave Eos a glowing review, and the entire text, with some new audio samples on the second page, is on the Music Radar site. [Go forth.](http://www.musicradar.com/gear/all/computers-software/plug-in-fx/eos-215397/review)

Interestingly, they prefer the plate to the hall. I'm curious as to how many people here agree with that assessment. When we were designing it, I was all about the Superhall algo. That's what we asked Sean to make, and what we spent the most time on. The plate wasn't an afterthought or anything; it got the same love and attention, but it was definitely not the raison d'étre for the plug-in in the first place. The goal was to make an Enoesque/Buddian reverb, since such a thing didn't really exist.

I use Superhall a lot when I'm going for a real effect, and not a subtle way to put some air around samples.

Actually my favorite AD chain -- which I have to force myself not to use too often -- is Dubstation16->Fluid->Eos, with 70% regen in dubstation, slow mod in Fluid, and Hall with long decay and medium modulation. Whatever you play into it turns into a big fluffy bed of sound you can sink into.

**shamann** (2009-08-04):

I like both, but I think I agree with them about the Plate. Certainly, I use it much more often.

**DarrenHalm** (2009-08-04):

Superhall was the reason I bought it, but damn you can get some great Seefeel style kicks with the plate.

**aKido** (2009-08-04):

simply depends on what the reviewer ate on that day.

i will get eos soon.....the freeze function will get abused over here....

The Eos algorithms are like my children. I loves them all!

(I have some opinions, but will wait for other people to chime in, as I am kinda biased...)

**EMS** (2009-08-04):

Superhall is the lushest; it's the one that pulls you in. I'm finding I use the plates a lot too, though.

Looks like Robert Rich is using Eos :

it's entry #69

**mazacultura** (2009-08-05):

@chaircrusher: Dude, would it be possible to hear a sample of that?

**bleen** (2009-08-05):

i'm 50/50 between plate2 and superhall. the plate gets lots of drum verb use and superhall is my go-to end-of-vocal-phrase-bloom-into-a-cloud-of-audio-yum.

**senorfrio** (2009-08-05):

I love the superhall! great job w/ this one!
