My partner in RT60, Jeremy, would like to sell his OB8, pictured above. What follows is the description he wrote:

_Oberheim OB8 rev. 5 with factory MIDI. This unit is in fantastic shape, seeing as it spent the last 15 years in its anvil case. This synth was fully serviced a month ago, and works just as it should. It was also modified per Jurgen Haible's guide to eliminate the high pass filter on the master output so that it's sound is closer to the OBXa. This mod is completely reversible if you so desire. Included will be an Anvil flight case that could use a re-foaming._

He'd like to get $1500, but he's willing to entertain trades of a commensurate value. Drop me [a line](mailto:chris@positronrecords.com) and I'll forward it to him.

Gear lust! Being at the bottom of the earth... many months by sail boat... means we don't get to see many of these. Sigh...

If you get me a plane ticket, I'd be happy to personally deliver it! Its about time we had a sweet Goldbaby OB8 to tape sample set...

K250, OB8, you guys are selling Eddie Van Halen's old keyboard rig. You need a DX7II to complete the set.

Might as well jump!

Why is it that people are always offering to personally deliver stuff to me down here at the bottom of the earth. Don't you know we have no ozone layer down here. It my be a beautiful place with friendly people but step outside for more than 5 min without a radiation suit on and your toast!
