Tattoo Windows Revved...
From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.
Okay, we have a fix for one of the issues. The Windows version of Tattoo has been updated to 1.0.1.0, and a new installer is available in your account in the AD store. This version fixes a drawing problem that many Windows XP users were experiencing in multiple hosts that was causing any number of issues, from weird lines and such to pausing the host to sluggish screen updates.
So, hit your account in the AD store, grab that bitch and give ’er a spin. Let us know if it doesn’t fix your various problems. We’re going to begin the OSX Whack-A-Mole Fiesta now.
EDIT: We’ve figured out the commonality among the people having install problems on OSX, and the cause. Searching for a possible solution; this will be the next rev, and should come before PM Tuesday.

Well I expected as much, new releases always have their surprises in the crucible of the real world ... but I still couldn't wait to buy it ..and glad I did ...BTW I got quite a bit of delay mid song switching between drum sounds and it also seems a little heavy on the CPU side of things, but I'll deal with those things later with a new computer this Spring
nice work
"the crucible of the real world" -- I love that.

Hmm...looks like Apple may have potentially added some moles to whack [Logic 9.1 just got released].

Although, truthfully, it's the old ones, not the new ones, that are the most annoying.

saw the 9.1 update too. decided i'd let someone else be the barer of bad tidings.
"Support for 64-bit native mode
Compatibility with 64-bit Audio Unit plug-ins"
eek. happy fun time!
Annoying 64-bit AudioUnit request mails begin in 5... 4... 3... 2...
Hopefully, that one will be less a giant pain in the ass, when the time finally comes.
They did fix an obnoxious EXS-24 bug, so something good came out of the update.
Saw that 9.1 update, yikes. Also the line on CDM asking everyone to bug manufacturers at NAMM about 64-bit drivers. Like we can test 64-bit drivers before apps exist. :P
Didn't Logic need a huge rewrite to cocoa to be 64-bit? I wonder how much breaks in 9.1. Staying far away for now...
And they put it in software update, where if you don't click on "show details" it would just update automatically and break all of your plug-ins. Bah! Hopefully there's at least a "32-bit mode" preference switch?
You can click “Open in 32-bit mode” in Logic’s “get info” box. Also, running the update left my old Logic, MainStage and Logic Node in place, appending the previous version numbers to those items. I’m shutting up about Logic if I know what’s good for me in 5... 4... 3... 2...
