I have nothing to add to this, except to point out that in 1982 I had those exact same glasses. Unfortunately, I couldn't grow a 'stache back then like that soup catcher he's sporting.

I love the use of the term "memory banks". That seems dated even for ~1979 (the year the "new record album E=MC^2" was released), as does the phrase "solid-state electronics". That could well be Faltermeyer; he gets production credit on "E=MC^2".

What I want to know is, what's that at 0:21-0:29? Did he really have some sort of electromechanical device for sequencing a piano?

My personal fave is "record album."

**BirdFLU** (2010-05-24):

CR, did you have the tie to go the glasses?

**Chris Randall** (2010-05-24):

Fuck ties. I was a Chams Man.
