Okay, the Full Of Techno t-shirts are ordered. Once I put in the overage to allow for various problems, we came in at 6 under the minimum, so we’re all good in that regard. It’ll take a week or so for the printer to get the shirts I wanted, and then another week or so for printing, and then however long it takes them to get here (they’re being printed on the East Coast, as I couldn’t find a screen printer here that was worth a shit.) Then we’ll be off to the races.
In other news, I’m leaving for Idaho tomorrow morning to deal with the excitement of having a reprobate mother. In a perfect world (and we all know this world is far from perfect) I’ll be back on Sunday. In my experience, an internet connection (hell, cell service, even) is a bit tough to come by where I’m going, so my participation is going to be spotty at best for the next few days.
In the past, when I’ve bagged on Idaho, I usually get either a comment here or a couple e-mails about how great that state is and how I just don’t know what I’m talking about, and furthermore what a prick I am. Let me mention, for the record, that anyone that is planning to write me to enlighten me on how awesome Idaho is (a) doesn’t know that I spent a fair portion of my childhood and many months of adulthood there, and (b) is out of their motherfucking minds. That state is beautiful, no lie. It is also full of the most racist, stupid, vile redneck assholes to grace this continent. Thanks, but I visit your shit only begrudgingly, and leave as soon as I’m able. You’re the DMV of states, basically.
Anyhow, ranting aside, I’ll be in and out the next few days. Don’t break anything.

Whatever you do there, don't engage in sodomy. You can get 5 years to LIFE in prison for that. The law was invalidated by the Supreme Court in 2003 - no wonder Republicans are so bent out of shape about activist judges!

As far as the most racist, stupid, vile redneck assholes on the continent...unfortunately, there's a fair amount of competition for that in this country. Your own current home state is doing pretty well in that regards. I like Russell Pearce's attempt to invalidate the 14th Amendment. The Tea Party folks are strict Constitutionalists, until they figure out that the Constitution is protecting people that aren't white.
Believe me when I say that these Phoenix folks couldn't hold a candle to your average Sandpoint neo-Nazi. It's like a Little League team versus the Yankees. No contest.
I went to high school (albeit briefly) with those motherfuckers. I know from whence I speak.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the whole Hayden Lake thing. The Arizona folks are at least kinda pretending not to be racist, as opposed to proclaiming their racism via the tattoos on their shaved heads. Idaho for the "win."
