Buying today!!!! So very psyched for this!

That synth sounds so great but I have to pass on this one. I recently bought a new turntable and when my girlfriend (who has full control of our economy) saw the cost she freaked out. I'm not allowed to purchase anything music related for a whole year o.O

@Trackdriver: you gotta show a woman who's boss. I just beat the hell out of my wife when she says some shit like that, then send her back out on the corner to earn more money.

Or, well, not so much, actually.

Congratulation on the release of Phosphor!

    Wonderfully quirky synth. Loving it!

I'm glad I recently discovered this site... Phosphor sounds groovy and I like just about anything with tempo synced LFOs and delay. Outfuckingstanding!

This is gooder than a lot of good things.

@CR: I will only say this: She is the Borg - resistance is futile!

CR is moving today so I guess I'll chime in. First, thanks to all for the kind words and the sales!

    @chaircrusher:

    1. 0msec delay and 100% wet is pretty close to the same thing, as shamann mentioned.

    2. We could do that in a major update (as opposed to a minor update) since it would involve adding parameters. The filters were conceived of for changing the delay timbre rather than the voice itself, mostly because the aS didn't have filters at all, but you're right, they could do double-duty.

    3. The filters are actually HPF and LPF internally, controlled by one control. If you shove the puck far enough in one direction or the other, you'll mostly get only one filter or the other. I agree that if we were to do #2 then we'd probably want separate modes and a resonance control.

    4. You're not missing anything, other than the sentence in the manual in which it's stated that they don't respond to automation. ;-) That was deliberate; allowing automation to drive those controls would increase the CPU load quite a bit. Automating them in a manner that wouldn't introduce nasty clicks and pops would definitely increase the CPU load.

Here's a problem I have with this, and really all of the AD stuff; I can't really tell much from the demo tracks. I fully understand the "no demo version" policy, and back it, but in order for that to work you really need a lot of sound examples.

There seems to be two schools of thought on presenting demo sounds; the kind where you play a lot of plain dry examples of the presets or examples, and the kind where you use the sounds to make tracks. I can only seem to make any sense of the former, I would much rather just hear a dry rundown of one note played on each preset. When I here a track with drums and reverb and such I really feel like I have barely any idea of what the instrument or effect in question actually sounds like. After listening to the demo tracks I'm still not sure what Phosphor does.

    It looks really pretty though.

I suspect this is just one of those things where different people process information differently.

@xmodz: Thanks for the tip. I checked the page out, but saw no link for download. Also, i'm on a PC, so i can't use Turbosynth =o[

You're welcome. You can find birdflu's SCW project file here( http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VX6HEWEH ).

If you still want a copy of TurboSynth just in case you ever get a mac, you can find a copy of it here as well( http://www.mediafire.com/?x22mv47zygu4at0 )
