The next Audio Damage product is almost done, and it’s a doozy. I imagine it will be up for sale, in Windows and OSX VST, within the week, as soon as we get the installers done.
It is an actual model of the Realistic Electronic Reverb, which as anyone who had this box (which is just about everyone) knows, is actually an analog delay unit. We even modelled the input distortion of running a line-level signal in the mic input. It’s as close as we can make it to the real thing. As soon as VST goes on sale, and we work out any issues that invariably arise with the first batch of customers, we’ll port it to RTAS and give that a go.
Whether it is humor you’re looking for, or a way to recreate that experimental phase that everyone goes through when they’re first starting out, this is just the box. It’ll be $29.99 (the same price as the real Realistic one).
