Yeah, I don’t have any idea what this dude was thinking, either. What I really don’t know is what the guy that actually bid $3500 on this has going through his head. The auction is here, but don’t expect to learn anything more about it than you’ll get just looking at the picture. Maybe those two 1591 comps would get you a couple grand back, to the right person, but the rest of it?
I especially like the juxtaposition of the pink Emco rack with all the Institutional Green Altec stuff. That’s a great combo.

I dunno, man, there are some pretty sweet pres in those 1567's. And a spring reverb to boot. And it's bizarre looking. I'm not surprised it sold...

I'm in love! And I'm more or less local! Now the price needs to come down by about 50% and I will have the gayest studio in the region.
