Axon Updated To 1.1.1...
From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.

We have just put version 1.1.1 of Axon in the AD store and it is now available for immediate download. Changes in this version:
1. The weird issue where it would not pick up the transport for a bit if you started your DAW anywhere but at the beginning has been fixed. This issue affected all users of 1.1.0, and was a side effect of adding the reset feature.
2. The odd preset skipping issue that was occurring in Cubase and some flavors of Cakewalk products on the Windows side has been (theoretically) fixed. This is a puzzler, and it’s not certain that we’ve addressed it, mainly because we can’t figure out what’s causing it. But it’s not a deal breaker in any event, as it doesn’t affect the operation of the plug-in in any way, and all presets can still be selected via the dropdown menus.
Anyhow, if you’re an owner, we recommend this update, especially if you updated to 1.1.0, as the main fix was for a bug spawned in that version.

Thanks for the update Chris. Any chance we'll be seeing the rest of the Axon videos in the near future?
I am, simultaneously to all this AD stuff, working on a contract job for an iPad app that has taken up most of my time. I know it seems like I can do 30 things at once, but the number is really closer to 2.

@CR - well, it doesn't sound like you have any time to use your korg-770. i think you should send it to me.
thanks again, AD, for the prompt update.
OT: Logic is currently my main DAW, but I don't mind anyone hating on it. I hate on it, too. I think it's a requirement. Still, I'm mostly okay with its cornucopia of oddities. I haven't had many brushes with nasty bugs. While stability is sometimes iffy, it can get the job done. Usually.
Chris, I'm curious to know why you think Logic is nearly dead and won't make it to another major iteration. Is there some scuttlebutt out there, or is it more speculation from seeing how creaky the thing is getting? Is there something ominous in the air?

Hmm. What happens when boobs asserts two or more points in a post? There's some amount of ambiguity about being with boobs, then, no? I'm guessing that elle is, in this instance, with boobs because sending the Korg to boobs would mean one less piece of gear to trip over. But is Sean with boobs because he's thanking AD, or because he wants the Korg? And whose stupid idea was it to put the apostrophe on the digits page of the iPad keyboard?

Sometimes there's a zen mystery to being with boobs.
In this way, AI is just like highschool.
