Yard Sale!
My friend Mike Fisher is selling his Roland SVC-350 vocoder. You know what it is already, so I won't belabor the obvious with a description. If you don't, there are about 200 demonstration videos on YouTube. I can…

Look At That Fucking Hipster, pt. 1/3...
Two points: 1\. I'm totally in favor of building your own instruments and composing for them. I think we can all agree, however, that Harry Partch didn't create this concept. 2\. 43-notes to the octave makes my teeth…

I will put up some far more sophisticated demos, movies, the usual shit here in a few days, but here's a little clip of the UI, and a very simple little sound clip. \[Embedded media, no longer available.\] Phosphor Test…

Bundles? We Don't Need No Stinking Bundles...
But that doesn't mean we don't have them. If you head over to the Audio Damage site, and direct your gaze to the top, you'll notice a new category, Bundles. Yes, this is what you think it is. We (and by "we" I mean my…

This, That, And The Other Thing...
Someone in a previous thread (or perhaps it was on Twitter; I feel like Shamann said it) wondered out loud if the new Brian Eno record would be considered "good" if some random unknown schmoe put it out. I've listened…

What's Goin' On...
Start your Tuesday right with a little Marvin. In no particular order... 1\. AES. Ain't going. Something came up that precludes me from making the Pilgrimage. Not a big deal, and frankly the drive and expense are…

Aeon...
The above is a screenshot of Aeon, the next Naughty Panther release. It is functionally similar to DroneStation, inasmuch as it is an envelope-free environment, but it's iPad-only. As you can see, I'm not quite done…

Various Things...
We're coming up on convention season at the Audio Damage Social Networking And Community Outreach Center, otherwise known as the third bedroom in my house. I took that as a sign that I should probably get business cards…

The Death March...
I had to go to L.A. this weekend; it's no secret I've been working on a project I can't talk about, and that has been sucking up the majority of my time, but that project is pretty much done as of yesterday, with only…

We have just put version 1.1.1 of Axon in the AD store and it is now available for immediate download. Changes in this version: 1\. The weird issue where it would not pick up the transport for a bit if you started your…
