Rewiring complete...
From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.
Got my office all re-wired today. Took me two days to strip it to the bare walls, clean everything, and put it all back together. Thank god I don’t have more shit.
Well…
I actually have a ton more shit, but it’s all out in the studio. I can’t record guitars in the house, because my wife would kill herself then kill me. In the interests of marital bliss, all actual noise takes place out in the studio. Also, I’ve ordered speaker stands because the speaker placement makes me want to stick a rusty spork right in my left eye, but they obviously aren’t here yet.
This is a much better placement than my previous iteration, I’ll say that much.

i can see how the speaker placement would be a problem. isn't there a moog someplace?
All my synths are stored. I pull them out as I need them. Since I don't "collect" synths, I don't feel the need to be constantly surrounded by everything that has keys that I own.
And if I did, I wouldn't be able to fit in the room.

well ther are also several moogs in the center rack.. Looking nice Chris
Fuck, I love your new camera! :)
That them Purples I see, right above the Rosetta?
and how do ya store older synths? some of batts that could leak older ones covering is good.
I forgot what I was gonna say.. but the the new Firewater CD is great!
You might want to consider getting a set of those auralex pads or something similar to to go with the speakers. When I got a pair of fairly cheap steel stands, there were a couple of resonant frequencies that made them rattle and buzz really fucking loudly, but the pads fixed it completely.
You don't have nearly enough stuff lying around in your office.
