OOTO...
I'll be away from my keyboard until Monday, as we're going to Seattle for the weekend; got a photo shoot for my upcoming album, plus seeing friends. At the tone, please leave a message, and I'll get back to you as soon…

It's not unusual...
And people say guitars are phallic. I mean, really now. This is yet another fine example of the "solution in search of a problem" concept. Thrill to the video. Let's go ahead and remove any possibility of expression…

I swear to Christ...
I don't know if you watch Deadwood on HBO (and I'm fairly certain most of the foreign readers of this site will say "nope" to that) but the second to last episode of last season, there was occasion for one of the main…

RSS Feed Fixed?
We were having some problems with the RSS feed the last few days (apparently, it isn't happy about ampersands or YouTube videos) but theoretically it is fixed. Let me know if this isn't the case.

No Jarre Required...
It's funny because just today Adam and I were having a discussion about alternative controllers and the construction thereof, and he said (and I paraphrase) that while alternative controllers were nice and all, the…

New Cwejman Modules...
I don't know if you noticed, but there's a whole arseload of new Cwejman modules in Eurorack format up at Analogue Haven. This is shaping up to be a pretty slick system. I know I've sworn off modulars for the nonce, but…

Sorry...
...for the silence, but we're working on a release for the label right now. Back to the normal vitriol and player-hating shortly.

Chock Full Of Moogy Goodness...
As you can clearly see, my Analog Effect is 6/7ths done. There's just an MF-104Z-shaped hole in the upper right, and I'll get that bad boy as soon as I have some fiscal ducks to put in a row. I got the second panel from…

WTB 606...
Okay, I'm looking for a pair of TR-606s. If you have one to sell, drop me a line and let me know about it, or if you know of one not on the 'bay. Cosmetic issues aren't important, but they need to be in full working…

OASYS okay...
All right. I'll admit that I had my doubts about the OASYS synth. I'll still stand by my feeling that it costs about 2.5x as much as it should, if it was to enjoy any measure of success (I'm sure I'll be taken to task…

Solutions to writer's block?
What do you guys do when you have writer's block? I'm in the depths of one of the worst phases I've ever had. (Although it's only two weeks old, so it's not that bad, relative to some people I know.) I know that…

Freebie from FXpansion...
Check this out. A free monosynth from our good friends at FXpansion. Marketspeak: "Orca is an experimental monosynth built to showcase some new technology that FXpansion has been developing. Based on detailed and…
