Focusrite Liquid Mix...
Another addition to the family of DSP sidecars for your DAW, which includes the PowerCore and UAD-1. This bad boy is the Focusrite Liquid Mix. Obviously a permutation of the Liquid Channel; I assume it uses the same…

Hard-Core Gear Porn Friday!!!
You always know that when I put up a picture of Vangelis or Tomita or Wendy Carlos gear, I consider it something of a cop-out, but I had a really busy week, and was unable to do my normal Thursday afternoon search…

Thoughts on the New Moog...
If you're not subscribed to the Analog Heaven list (and who can really blame you?) there's been quite the go-round in the last few days about the New Moog. Of course, the same issues have appeared on many other forums…

Komp This...
If you recall, a couple weeks ago I was pattering on about "getting the comp out." Well, it's out. Shipping next Tuesday. So, if you find yourself needing a helping of the Posi Stylee, you can go grab yourself one, and…

w00t! and furthermore niiiiice....
If you kids happen to pick up the current issue of Future Music (the April issue, which is on sale today), there are reviews of both BigSeq and Phase Two. That, in and of itself, isn't that big a deal. What \ is\ a big…

I don't want you to get the impression I'm trying to talk you in to spending money because I can't, but this particular thing fits right in with normal topics of conversation here, so I thought it worth mentioning…

Some really good deals...
I'm loath to give up this link, but we may be moving soon (again) and I don't need to be aquiring anything else for the time being. So, in the interests of spreading the wealth, I give you Robert Van Dyke's price list…

Self-tuning guitar (again)?
Yet another self-tuning guitar thing-a-ma-bob, this time from Tronical. ("You play. We Tune." How 'bout that?) I tend to lump these sorts of things in the "solutions to problems you didn't know you had" folder, which is…

New Moog Hint?
I've been trying to stay above the fray on this whole New Moog thing, but this might be worth having a gander at. I find it incredibly hard to believe that there's a retailer on the planet that could keep this…

Hard-Core Gear Porn Friday!!!
Old Schoolers Anonymous. Check this shit out. No computer, beeyatch! He makes songs the old fashioned way. He types them in to an MC-4, one note at a time, like Real Men Used To. I assume, from the top-level domain tag…

Burwen Bobcat...
It took some reading to figure out what the fuck this is. As far as I can tell, you buy this package containing the Burwen Bobcat software and a USB D/A convertor. The software is a plugin for Windows Media Player, and…

Wow...
I don't really have anything to add to this. I mean, there's nothing that can be said about this album cover that the image alone doesn't convey. Taken from this page. I wonder if Devastatin' Dave (The Turntable Slave)…

One more Asian Gear Porn pic...
I forgot one of the pics that Ethan sent me in the Asian Porn Fest last weekend. So here 'tis. It's the cover of a Roland brochure, and would be a pretty comprehensive studio, even by today's standards. (Just add…

Makin' license plates, that's what it's all about this week at Audio Damage. Phase Two has been given the UB treatment today. This is a free crossgrade. If you own it, just log in to your store account and download the…
